Wellas the title says, the worlds been nicer to me recently ,thanks to some real friends and a bit of luck and over 18 hrs of struggling and several bits of bad language and such (including having to install my ISPs proprietary version of IE 8 Mehh :-< )the old machine ..sort of ,is back up and running new MB and CpU(a 2.8 Gig Intel P4 Celeron).
To those of you praying ,in what ever fashion you did,or hoping for good news for me ,I thank you to others , I'M Back ,love all here ,even if some of us aren't on speaking terms with me from old mistakes I still deeply regret in other places <sad laugh >.Now I've got to get caught up on comments and some artwork for others, and hopefully this MB and processor last as long as the old ones did ..ands wow some things look better already as to rendering and apparent quality of the renders...

My net is cutting out alot, so I have lost my place on which comments actually got posted. If things seem a bit reduntant I'm sorry.

They are supposed to send me a tech soon, because when I call my ISP they keep telling me that my connection is fine. Seems like it wouldn't cut out half the time I refresh a page if it was fine.
*sigh*

Gahh gremlins and glitch monkeys, sort of working on one of the Sci-Fi version of 'Lani hunting a 'glitch beast or monkey' with a big ole Plasma cannon or Grenade launcher ..mehh not fun as i'm going through same only with my video card..bahh.Just hope its RL soon ..not "Daz Soon"

You new forgotten giant looks neat. But me and Leona were curious how that other render you got going is progressing?

I'm working on it now that I've gotten this beta testing finished and it's out for sale at Content Paradise and Renderosity's stores.,but had some problems with both my machine and my Internet connections recently ,as well as the one component for Leona's char .Also RL has had me busy doing things for a few days ,but I haven't forgotten this ,and I'll try to get it to you ASAP.
:iconravenshard:
You always seem to have a render in the works. I am stealing your muse. :P
:iconlesgraham:
Hmm ohh be warned ,regarding my Muse ,she is guarded by a very BIG Kerra ,with an even BIGGER Plasma cannon :-).
And true I've got a few more Lani-verse ones on the go already including a couple of Lani's husband ,her daughter and that BIG Kerra<wicked laugh>,as well as some more of The pure Dark Elven version of Lani ('Free to Dance' titled renders in my AD&D gallery),if you played 2nd Edition AD&D ,in the Forgotten Realms Campaign setting might catch some subtle clues about some things ;-) ,in the story I wrote for the main one ,in the artist comments part.As well as idea's for others in both the EQ2 Genre and elsewhere

We had an active game circle of 11 people for years. Mostly Forgotten Realms and Planescape, though we ran a fairly sucessful Vampire cronicle and we dabbled in Shadow Run. The Vampire group always became over crowded and was pretty unmanagable, as the girlfriends and wives that didn't usually play joined us for it. While ShadowRun netted a smaller group. Even though it was an easier system at the time, and far better for fill-in games when things came up on game night that kept people from coming over. It seemed people had a harder time connecting with Axe-welding cyber trolls than nature worshipping gnomes....But the ShadowRun groups were always better for the newer players because the group was small. It was always hard for the younger players to not be carried on the current of the ones that were more experienced.
Over time we became scattered so not many chances for table top games any more, but you always carry fond memories. :)

Hmm interesting ,was never big on Vampire..or a lot of White Wolf's other stuff,PlaneScape played a few sessions ..mostly as peripherals to the main Forgotten Realms campaign ,I played/helped Gm as well what became a very " mutated " Classic and Mega Traveller Campaign ,my SCiFi works are mostly set in that 'universe' except the Star Wars ones.
ShadowRun I personally liked the concept ,just our game's club never had a decent GM for that setting ,sadly, as most of our folks were not so interested in the concept ,and I had enough 'fun' with helping to run both the AD&D and Traveller campaigns on occasion.
Meh I know that feeling the club I belonged to ,in Toronto ,sort of broke up when a couple of our folks enlisted and/or graduated ,and the store we ran it out of ,closed down due to financial problems.
I still hear from a few folks from the old club once in a while though, maybe a few more as i 've been Beta testing a commercial Poser figure /vehicle and its gone on sale now at CP.Im Listed as one of the testers,I'll be posting a few of the renders I did for the test here soon ..
